The most known astronomical event - the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction in 7AD became (according to Campion) a catalyst of the concept of the Great Conjunctions that were the pivotal points which were bringing to light two major historical myths: a Utopian myth and a myth of the end of the World. The passionate debates around the Great Conjunction of 1524 in Muscovite Russia gave life to the eschatological concept of Moscow as the Third Rome.
